MEET TIFFANY

A Daughter of Baltimore

Tiffany Jones is a life-long resident of East Baltimore. In her current position, Tiffany investigates police misconduct cases and is a LGBTQ+ liaison for the City of Baltimore. Tiffany has spent the majority of her professional career working to help and inform others through communications and broadcast journalism. As a former legislative intern, Tiffany worked on public safety, voting rights and environmental issues.

In the midst of her professional efforts, Tiffany has been able to connect with the Belair-Edison community through grass-root initiatives. Tiffany is an active member of the Baltimore City Women’s Commission Public Safety Committee and the Baltimore City Public Safety Advisory Commission. She has served as a Resident Food Equity Advisor for the Baltimore City Department of Planning and a member of Baltimore Rising Leadership Institute, a civic engagement group sponsored by Baltimore City Council members.

Tiffany is familiar with the needs and struggles of Baltimore inner city communities because she too, shares those same needs and struggles. She has organized and participated in countless community initiatives and events throughout Baltimore and our great State of Maryland.

Tiffany is a proud graduate of Mervo High School, Morgan State University, 2005 (BA), and the University of Baltimore, 2018 (MA). In Fall 2021, she will be pursuing her Ph.D at The University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Tiffany is an Emerge Maryland 2020 graduate. "Emerge Maryland is an independent state affiliate of Emerge, which has trained more than 4,000 women to run for office since 2002." She is also a member of the second cohort of Progressive Maryland People’s Leadership Institute (MPLI). MPLI trains and educates potential candidates for office and other political advocates.

Tiffany is a mother to Jazmine, a daughter of Baltimore City and a change that works for our community. She resides with her family in northeast Baltimore.
